Wanstead's Tom Simmons hit a superb unbeaten double century in their Dukes Essex League Cup win at Woodford Wells.
Put into bat, the Herons saw Yuvraj Odedra dismissed by Gareth James (2-66) early on, but Simmons and Robin Das then dominated the home attack.
Essex youngster Das hit four sixes and eight fours in his 67-ball 76 during a 150-run stand for the second wicket, before falling to Yazaan Khursheed (2-72).
And although captain Kishen Velani followed soon after, Simmons added another 96 with Zoraiz Saeed (38) and 46 with Eshun Kalley, who contributed just one run to the partnership.
Simmons hit 19 sixes and 10 fours to finish 210 not out from just 127 balls, as the visitors closed their 45 overs on a whopping 365-5, with Wanstead old boy Mohammed Fayyaz Khan among the Wells bowlers punished.
The hosts were soon in trouble at 13-2 as Zain Shahzad and Kalley removed their openers, but Pranav Raichetti (44) and Ben Kingsnorth (46) put on 79 for the third wicket, before both fell to young Ali Zeb (2-43).
Odedra (2-37) removed Connor Caplan and Ben Munson with successive deliveries to leave Wells 99-6, but James showed some defiance with a 35-ball 52, hitting four sixes and three fours.
Velani (2-26) trapped James lbw, though, as Wells closed well adrift on 191-9.
Ilford also secured their progress with a 16-run win at Westcliff.
Put into bat, they saw Mohammad Ahktar share 110 for the second wicket with Akash Raji (59), before falling for 101 off 104 balls, having hit five sixes and nine fours.
Sumit Kumar (26) made quick runs as the visitors reached 231-6 at Chalkwell Park and Raji struck early with the ball in the home side's reply.
An 81-run stand for the second wicket was ended by the run out of Naeem Amin by Dulen Abayakoon, with wickets falling at regular intervals.
Opener Basit Ahmed was seventh man out for 72, with Westcliff still 48 runs short of their target and they eventually closed on 215-7.
Aztecs eased to an eight-wicket win over Hornchurch Athletic, after dismissing their hosts for 166.
Sagar Soni (3-28) and Damion La Pompe (3-32) shared bowling honours, as Dipayan Paul (2-33) nabbed a brace.
And Burham Mahmood dominated a 56-run stand with Ulthman Salim and unbroken 88-run parternship with Vikrant Venkatesan (28 not out) as victory was secured in the 33rd over.
Mahmood hit four sixes and 13 fours to finish unbeaten on 115 from 101 deliveries.
There was disappointment elsewhere, though, for Frenford, Oakfield Parkonians, Redbridge and Loughton, as they all bowed out of the competition.
Frenford dismissed visiting Hawks for 189 at the Jack Carter Centre, with Hamza Omar (3-31), Rameez Rehman (3-32) and Abdullah Mir (2-29) sharing most of the wickets.
But they slumped to 21-3 in reply and Aahan Srivastav (24) ended up as their top scorer in a 53-run defeat.
Parks were put into bat by Hutton and saw their openers share 33 before four wickets fell for just five runs.
It set the tone as they were skittled for 91 in 30 overs, with Will Spires (4-28) and Viraj Gandji (3-19) the chief destroyers, before Hutton eased to a nine-wicket win in 20 overs.
Redbridge chose to bat first at Harlow, but the move backfired as they were dismissed for 99 in 32 overs.
Hayat Ali (29) and Ismaeel Akram (21) were their top scorers, before the hosts clinched an eight-wicket victory in 20 overs.
And Loughton were also left to lick their wounds after a three-wicket defeat at Harold Wood.
Put into bat, they lost their first wicket without a run on the board, but AH Ahmed (42) put on 88 with Sagar Joshi (40).
Wickets fell at regular intervals, though, and Loughton were all out for 150 in the 37th over, as Praveen Kumar (5-32) shone brightest with the ball for Wood.
The home side struggled to build big partnerships in reply, with the departure of opener Taqi Abbas (42) leaving them 88-4.
That soon became 100-6, but Shahbaz Khan (32 not out) kept his cool to share an innings-high 34-run stand with Saad Ali Baryar for the seventh wicket to help see Wood to their target.
