Two school children were hit by a car after a crash after an alleged hit-and-run.
Emergency services rushed to Sunnyside Road, Ilford on Friday (October 18) after reports of two boys being injured.
Ambulance crews found two boys, both believed to be 11, after being called at 3.38pm.
One boy sustained minor injuries, and the second was taken to an east London hospital.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “We await on an update on his condition.”
The driver of the car, a Toyota Estima, is believed to have left the scene on foot, the Met said.
Two men, 40 and 43, were later arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and perverting the course of justice.
Then later on, a woman, 37, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and perverting the course of justice.
All three have been released on bail.
