A man who died after being found in a corridor with stab injuries has been named.
Police and paramedics were called to Chapel Road at 1.06am on Friday (October 4) to reports of a stabbing.
Billy Keegan, 50, was found suffering from a stab injury in the corridor of a block of flats.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Billy was pronounced dead at 1.30am, Scotland Yard said.
His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The investigation is being led by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
Officers carried out fast-paced enquiries and three men, aged 40, 36 and 28, were arrested shortly after on suspicion of murder.
They were taken to an east London police station where they remain in custody.
A fourth man, aged 30, was arrested on Saturday (October 5) on suspicion of murder.
He has been taken into custody.
