More than £100,000 was found stashed in nappies and hidden inside a wall during a raid in east London as part of a probe into counterfeit airbags.
Officers from the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU) at City of London Police conducted search warrants at addresses in Leyton and Ilford during the early hours of September 19.
A third warrant was executed at a garage in Ilford.
A total of 500 counterfeit airbags and around £140,000 in cash were seized across all three premises.
Cash adding to £110,000 wrapped in nappies and hidden in a wall cavity at one property was uncovered by police dogs.
The remaining £30,000 was found inside wardrobes at the same address.
A written price list found in the warrants suggests that the airbags were sold for £25.
