I tried the TikTok viral mango ice cream in Ilford which turned out to be the perfect treat on a sunny day.
Hafiz Juice Corner on the corner of Madras Road has been all over my TikTok for you page, so I went to check it out for myself.
The business, which sells fresh Pakistani juices and ice creams, went viral for its mango ice cream recently.
I visited at around 3pm on July 11, after the weather took a welcomed turn and somewhat resembled summer at 23 degrees.
I'd never been before but could tell I was in the right place after spotting the queue from down the road.
A mango ice cream set me back a mere £2, which I paid in cash as their card machines did not appear to be working.
The portion size was extremely generous and the brightly coloured ice cream was striking, capturing the attention of passers-by.
Customers continued to arrive steadily, with some opting to get a mix of the mango and pistachio ice creams.
The ice cream had the classic whipped swirl and was the perfect soft-serve consistency.

I was pleasantly surprised after tasting it, that the mango flavour was not too sweet and wasn't artificial.
The perfectly balanced flavour made it a truly refreshing treat for a hot day.
I doubt I will be able to enjoy an ice cream from any supermarket as much anymore after trying this.
In my opinion, TikTok has helped to uncover a local gem, offering a mango ice cream I will never forget.
