A residential road in Ilford has been closed by police after a reported burglary. 

Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called with reports of a possible burglary at a residential address in Lavender Place at 3.16pm on April 11.

(Image: Anonymous)They were dispatched to the scene and discovered evidence that suggests a person was injured inside the home. 

Despite this, the property was found to be empty.

A crime scene remains in place today (April 12) whilst the police continue with their enquiries.
