An image has been released by police in connection with a woman’s sexual assault on a train.
The incident happened at around 2.10pm on Sunday (February 11) when the victim was travelling with her sister from Leyton to Gants Hill.
British Transport Police said a man allegedly crouched beside her to talk and then went on to sexually assault her.

Other passengers, BTP added, stepped in to separate the man from the victim but he continued to stare at and attempt to get close to the victim before leaving the train at Gants Hill station.
Officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him or has further information is asked by BTP to contact them by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 410 of 11 February.
Alternatively, reports can be sent to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
