Ilford saw crowds of thousands gather for its 2023 Christmas lights switch-on.
High Road played host to more than 13,000 people as they gathered for the festivities.
Visitors were also able to enjoy performances from local talent and festive food and drink throughout the night.

Performers included singers and dancers from Karan's Bollywood Master Class.
This year’s event featured an “enchanting” snowfall experience that “delighted both children and adults alike”, according to an Ilford Business Improvement District (BID) spokesperson.
The switch-on was attended by Redbridge mayor Jyotsna Islam and other council dignitaries.
The lights were accompanied by a fireworks display.
The Ilford BID spokesperson said: “Ilford's Christmas light switch-on event undoubtedly succeeded in creating a joyous and unforgettable experience for all who attended, setting the tone for a festive season filled with warmth and community spirit.”
