Three people from Ilford have been arrested in connection with damage to a shop and stolen iPhones.
Police responded to reports of a high-value theft in Chelmsford, Essex on September 22 at 2:20pm involving up to eight people.
According to Essex Police, the group allegedly entered a Vodafone shop in Chelmsford High Street and damaged displays before leaving with several new iPhones.
An estimated £7,000 of damage was allegedly caused and more than £4,000 worth of phones were reportedly stolen.
Three males, aged 17, 19 and 23, were arrested and released on bail until November whilst enquiries are ongoing.
District Commander Paul Ballard, of the Chelmsford and Maldon District, said: “Our investigation will continue whilst we work through a number of enquiries which includes reviewing CCTV to identify all those involved in this incident."
