A pub in Ilford has reopened following a six-figure investment, which has also created 20 new jobs.
King George V on Cranbrook Road reopened on Friday, March 24, with Sir Trevor Brooking attending the ribbon-cutting to celebrate the relaunch.
The Greene King pub has undergone a complete modernisation of both the interior and exterior.
Internally, the pub has undergone a full refurbishment, with additional seating, new flooring and a redesign of furniture.

A new 80-inch TV has been installed, aimed at improving the existing dedicated viewing zone for sports fans.
Outside, an extension has added over 50 new covers and a new heated pergola, with four TVs and festoon lights to the beer garden.
The investment has allowed the team to expand, with 20 vacancies available for chefs and front of house positions.
As part of the investment, the food and drink options have also changed.

Aiden Lidbury, general manager of King George V, said: "The King George V is a real local pub that sits at the heart of the community.
"There’s something for everyone here, and we wanted to ensure it retained that inclusive feel with our renovations.
"Whether you want to bring your family, watch sports or pop in for a drink on the commute, we’re able to accommodate it all.
"We’re also really pleased with the transformation of our new beer garden.
"To have an outside space of such a large size in this area is unheard of, so we can’t wait to see more people there as we head towards summer."
