A Seven Kings householder has been fined after leaving concrete blocks and other building materials in a public road.
Large quantities of concrete building blocks were spotted stacked outside Eugene Frederick's home in Nutfield Gardens.
The building materials did not have any barriers or warning signs around them to protect road users and pedestrians, according to Redbridge Council.

A Redbridge enforcement officer discovered the items belonged to Frederick and that there was no permit for them to be on the road and were being stored illegally.
Frederick, 67, was warned he would receive a fixed penalty notice if he did not remove the items from the road and pavement.
The items on the pavement were then removed but the concrete blocks still remained in the road.
The council said Frederick was issued with four fixed penalty notices for the unauthorised deposit of materials on the highway, which remained unpaid.
He was summonsed to Barkingside Magistrates Court for four Highways Act offences where he pleaded not guilty, leading to a trial date at Romford Magistrates Court on January 19.
Frederick changed his plea two days before the trial and appeared in court, pleading guilty to the four charges against him.
He was fined, as well as ordered to pay council and court costs, totalling £1,314.
