A boy was taken to hospital after being found with stab wounds on a main east London road this afternoon (January 10).
Police were called just after 3.15pm to reports of a stabbing in Ilford Lane.
The boy, believed to be 15, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. A police spokesperson said they await an update on his condition.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was also in attendance.
A spokesperson said: “We were called today (10 January) at 3:15pm to reports of an incident on Ilford lane, Ilford.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an incident response officer, two medics in fast-response cars, and two ambulance crews.”

Part of Ilford Lane was closed off with a police cordon in place, as officers continue to investigate the circumstances.
The police spokesperson confirmed there have been no arrests, and asked anyone with information, video or images that could help to call 101, using the reference CAD 4200/10 Jan.
