A plaque will be unveiled to remember all those lost to and who were affected by Covid-19 in Redbridge.
Redbridge Council is inviting people to attend the unveiling at Valentine's Park on Saturday, November 26.
There will be a tribute ceremony at the Redbridge Covid-19 Memorial Garden near the Valentine's Park Bandstand at 11am.
Redbridge Council deputy leader Cllr Kam Rai said: "The pandemic was an incredibly difficult time for all of us, many lost loved ones, and we all had to sacrifice and change the way we lived to keep one another safe from the virus.
"I am incredibly proud that throughout the most challenging periods of the pandemic, our communities came together and supported our neighbours - showing how strong our community spirit is here in Redbridge.
"When planning the Redbridge Covid-19 Memorial Garden, we took inspiration from local people and artists in residence at Ilford's SPACE Studios to make sure the memorial reflected our community.
"We hope this space provides a quiet refuge for local people to reflect, remember and pay their respects."
The Memorial Garden will house a trail containing hundreds of memorial stones that people can write tributes on.
The Memorial Garden and Valentine's Park Bandstand are accessible via the Cranbrook Road park entrance.
