Around 25 firefighters have dealt with a grass fire on Wanstead Flats this afternoon.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) said around one and a half hectares of grassland was damaged near Capel Road.
Four fire engines were at the scene after the brigade was called at 11.44am today (July 28).
The fire was declared under control shortly before 2pm.
No injuries have been reported.
The brigade's control office has taken 23 calls about the fire, which was attended by crews from Leytonstone, Leyton, East Ham and Lewisham.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
