Obituary Gwen Lilian Bennett (nee Cottee) It is with deep regret that the family of Gwen Lilian Bennett (nee Cottee) share the news of her passing on the 3rd August 2019 at St. George’s Hospital, Barley Lane after a prolonged illness. She was aged 86. She had been an active member of the community running the Barkingside St Francis Hospice Shop for many years and an active member of the Scouting movement. She was also a Kitchen supervisor for many of the local schools in the area. Her Funeral service will be held at Forest Park Crematorium, Forest Road, Barkingside on Tuesday 27th August 2019 at 1.30 p.m. The Wake will take place in the Leisure Suite, Fairlop Waters from 2.30 pm – 4.30pm. For all those who wish to pay their respects. Flowers will be presented by the Family but if individuals wish to make a donation, a box will be supplied. The donations being equally split between The British Legion and Help The Aged. Her passing will be greatly mourned by her family and friends.
